Cleaning and maintenance of dough processing machine

The core of cleaning a dough processing machine lies in promptly cleaning it after powering off, avoiding scratching with hard objects, and ensuring thorough drying to prevent mold growth. The key points of maintenance include regularly tightening components, inspecting seals and lubrication (for commercial use), and avoiding overload. ‌‌
1. Cleaning steps (after each use)
Power off and disassemble: Unplug the power cord, wait until the machine completely stops, and then remove the mixing hook/roller head and mixing bowl.
Remove residue: Scrape off the residue directly when the dough is still wet; if it has hardened, soak it briefly or wait for it to dry before gently tapping and brushing it off, avoiding damage to the coating by forceful digging.
. Gentle cleaning: Use warm water mixed with a neutral detergent to clean the components with a soft cloth or soft brush. It is strictly prohibited to use steel wool or strong acid or alkali cleaners, as they may damage the non-stick layer or stainless steel surface.
. Machine body wiping: Wipe the exterior of the machine body and the motor cooling vents with a slightly damp soft cloth. Directly showering the machine body is prohibited to prevent water from entering and causing a short circuit.
. Thorough drying: Wipe or air dry all parts before assembling and storing to prevent rust or mold growth. ‌‌
2. Key points of regular maintenance
Household models: Check monthly for loose screws and accumulation of dough residue at the connection of the mixing shaft; if the barrel is made of stainless steel, no additional lubrication is required; if it has a coating, avoid scratching with sharp objects.
Commercial/Large models: Check the lubricating oil level and quality of the gearbox every 15 days to 1 month, and replenish food-grade lubricating grease if necessary; check the shaft seal ring for aging and leakage quarterly, and replace it in a timely manner.
Long-term storage: After cleaning and drying the dough processing machine, apply a small amount of food-grade mineral oil to the metal rotating parts. Place the machine in a dry and ventilated area and avoid applying heavy pressure. ‌‌
It is prohibited to clean or reach into the mixing parts while the dough processing machine is running. It is prohibited to directly place the mixing bowl into a dishwasher for high-temperature cleaning, to avoid deformation or coating peeling. It is prohibited to overload the machine by feeding excessive ingredients, which may cause the motor to burn out or the transmission gear to be damaged. ‌‌
